About us

Haven Community Church is an LGBTQIA+ led and affirming church, based in Southwest Florida.

One in three Americans have suffered religious trauma in their lifetime. This trauma disproportionately affects LGBTQIA+ individuals, leading to suicide, houselessness, substance abuse, anxiety, and depression.

Haven Community Church strives to create a safe space for all people to nurture their spiritual wellbeing, with a focus on queer and trans acceptance – Our goal is to help members of the LGBTQIA+ community heal their deep religious traumas. We are an affirming worship space in which access to weekly queer and trans-led sermons, an affirming library, and family counseling will help to restore the gap between faith and our community and bring families back together.
